Erica Weiner Jewelry has an awesome combination of quirk and antique. Prices are quite friendly, but fall into my; when I get paid I'll have another gander. Yep, when considering my finances, I throw around words like gander. These kind of words are not to be used lightly. I have several stores like this bookmarked; it's hard for me to buy jewelry, because, yeah, I'm picky. I like it to be unique, perhaps a conversation starter. I once had this plastic necklace of a working viewfinder-esq camera, which had all these really catholic pictures of the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus in it. It was flippin' ace. When I met Hellogoodbye, they were all pretty enthralled with it. Unfortunately it broke a long time ago and I don't think I have it anymore, but it was truly incredible. But Erica Weiner Jewelry. They have these gorgeous lockets with lyrics on then that I'm loving. The R.Kelly one is amazing. And I'm leaning heavily towards buying their Cosmonaut Necklace, which, at $80, is pretty affordable. The Russian text translates to "Star City", which was the name of the area that was home to the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. Being the space fanatic that I am*, this baby is up my alley and I'm about 80% certain that come Tuesday evening, I will be hitting ADD TO CART and throwing around some serious YAYs.
* Space and dinosaurs currently seem to be my jam. It's like my interests have become that of an eight year old. Ah, childhood innocence. How I am trying so hard to hold onto you.
